How to embed your quiz on facebook?

There are 2 ways to share your quiz on Facebook:

There are 2 ways to share your quiz on Facebook:

Option 1: Share the Link on Facebook

You can post the link. Your friends/fans would click the link and take the quiz on ProProfs or on your website (if the quiz is embedded on your website).

Option 2: Share & embed the quiz in a facebook page

This option requires a bit more work but would allow you to embed the entire quiz on facebook. A sample of this is at the following Quiz link: Sales Training On Prospecting

This article describes option 2 in detail. To do so, follow the following steps.

Step1: Install an iframe application on Facebook

Install an iframe application. This application would allow you to embed the quiz in it. An iframe application allows you to embed an external Web page in your Facebook Page tab (in the new Page layout on Facebook, "tabs" have been moved from the top of the page to the left column).

To install the Facebook Developer application, log in to Facebook and then visit the URL http://facebook.com/developers

If this is your first time installing the developer application, you will see the “Request for Permission” dialog show below:

Click the Allow button to proceed.

Step2: Creating your iFrame application

Now that you have the Developer App installed, click on the Create New App button. A dialogue box will appear. Please see below images.

Here in App Name filed type your quiz name or title name and accept the term and conditions. Then click the Continue button. A security dialogue box will appear, Enter the security phrase and then click Submit. Please see below images.

Step 3: Get the proprofs quiz embed code

Grab the embed code of your ProProfs quiz as shown in Step4 of the following article: How to embed a quiz on your website

Step 4: Add ProProfs Embed Code to the application

There are a lot of options you can tweak related to your application or quiz embeds.

Go to Page Tabs section, and fill tab name, tab url, secure tab url and edit url by adding the embed code from step 3 there. For example, see sample values below:

Click Save Changes button.
